Dumpster Rental Payment Policy

All Checks must be made payable to: The Dumpster Divers. Payment is due prior to, or at the time of dumpster delivery. We also accept most major credit cards over the phone, or through Paypal on line, for any dumpster rental service. We will only accept cash for your dumpster rental in person prior to or upon delivery of your dumpster. If cash is the preferred method of payment of your dumpster rental, The Dumpster Divers will still require credit card information to cover possible dumpster weight overages or any other extra charges that may apply upon disposal of trash. For more information on dumpster weight limits and additional dumpster rental fees, please click on “Pricing“. The Dumpster Divers reserves the right to charge a fee, no greater than that allowed by law on all customer checks returned for insufficient funds for any dumpster rental service.

Pricing

All dumpster rental prices include a 10 day time allowance, unless prior arrangements for an extension of dumpster rental services have been agreed upon by The Dumpster Divers. For every day after that dumpster rental time allowance, the customer will be charged $5 per day up to 14 days then $10 per day after the 14th day.  Special arrangements must be made prior to extending the rental.  Rental period extensions are only granted if agreed upon by The Dumpster Divers. The Dumpster Divers reserves the right to pick up the dumpster at any time after the allowed rental period (10 days) if the customer has not been in contact with us to arrange for an extension.  Extensions must be made no less than 48 hours in advance.

Each size dumpster has its own included weight limit. Please see the details of 10 yard, 15 yard, 20 yard, and 30 yard dumpster rentals on our “Pricing” page. Any dumpster rental overages will be charged by the lb at a prorated fee of $99 per ton. The weight of your dumpster will be assessed immediately following it’s removal upon disposal at the transfer station. If overage or any other fees or charges associated with your dumpster rental apply, payment will be due at that time.  If the customer has paid by credit card, you are agreeing to allow us to apply extra charges directly on that credit card.

Dumpster Rental Use, Care, and Placement

The dumpster rental customer will be responsible for designating a specific drop off location for the container. Please keep in mind that the delivery truck and dumpster are very large and heavy. The designated area must have unobstructed access for delivery and pick up of any dumpster. If The Dumpster Divers are unable to retrieve the dumpster due to obstructed access, there may be an additional charge associated with the dumpster rental service. We do not recommend dumpster placement over septic or sprinkler systems. A flat hard surface, such as a driveway or parking lot, is ideal to place your dumpster. We will supply wooden planks under each container to help prevent any indentations on asphalt. However, The Dumpster Divers can not be held liable for any property damage associated with the customers designated dumpster location.

The customer agrees to fill the container no more than level with the top edge of the container. Anything above that will need to be removed by hand and left behind. Transporting an overloaded dumpster is hazardous, unlawful and could be subject to a fine. In the event of an overloaded dumpster, the customer will be charged an additional fee of $50 for the excess waste removal.

The customer assumes all responsibilities for the dumpster while in their care, and will be held liable for any unreasonable or excess damage sustained (aside from normal wear and tear) while on their property.
