For every day after that dumpster rental time allowance the customer will be charged a daily rental fee (listed on the pricing page) unless another agreed upon price has been negotiated. Special arrangements must be made prior to extending the rental. Rental period extensions are only granted if agreed upon by The Dumpster Divers. The Dumpster Divers reserves the right to pick up the dumpster at any time after the allowed rental period (10 days) if the customer has not been in contact with us to arrange for an extension. Extensions must be made no less than 48 hours in advance and are based on availability.  During our busy season, we do not guarantee extensions.

Each size dumpster has its own included weight limit. Please see the details of 6 yard, 10 yard, 15 yard and 20 yard dumpster rentals on our “Pricing” page. Dumpster Rental Use, Care, and Placement

The dumpster rental customer will be responsible for designating a specific drop off location for the container. Please keep in mind that the delivery truck and dumpster are very large and heavy.  The delivery driver reserves the right to approve final placement area.  The designated area must have unobstructed access for delivery and pick up of any dumpster. If The Dumpster Divers are unable to retrieve the dumpster due to obstructed access, there may be an additional charge associated with the dumpster rental service.

There will not be an additional fee if container cannot be removed due to poor weather conditions on that day. However, the pick up date may get pushed off until conditions improve. Please make every attempt to clear your driveway of snow and ice before a scheduled delivery or pick up. If no attempt is made by the customer to clear the driveway of snow and ice in a reasonable time frame an additional charge may apply. We do not recommend dumpster placement over septic or sprinkler systems. A flat hard surface, such as a driveway or parking lot, is ideal to place your dumpster.  The Dumpster Divers can not be held liable for any property damage associated with the customers designated dumpster location.

The customer agrees to fill the container no more than level with the top edge of the container. Anything above that will need to be removed by hand and left behind. Transporting an overloaded dumpster is hazardous, unlawful and could be subject to a fine. In the event of an overloaded dumpster, the customer will be charged an additional fee of $75 – $175 for the excess waste rearrangement or removal.

The customer assumes all responsibilities for the dumpster while in their care, and will be held liable for any unreasonable or excess damage sustained (aside from normal wear and tear) while on their property.
